Some snippets from life at The Shoe Garden these past few weeks:
LAST SATURDAY: The whole shop erupted in laughter when the lovely Di arrived on Saturday and announced: “My husband said: ‘You’re not going to The Shoe Garden again, are you?'”. Yep, she was. Yep, she did. Yep, she bought three pairs of gorgeous shoes, including these uber comfy and cute Isabella wedge sandals in hot pink. Also available in black in sizes 10 to 12.
LAST TUESDAY: Oh dear, I hope anyone who visits The Shoe Garden today isn’t in a hurry as I’m moving v v slowly. Two words: personal training. Six more words: it has been a long time. One final word: Ouch! Even bending down to unpack these lovely Naturalizer sandals was a challenge. Yep, v v slow at The Shoe Garden today! UPDATE: I’m pleased (and relieved) to say that I can move again!!!
LAST WEDNESDAY: What do you do when you’re working back late and your desk is overflowing with shoes and postal bags and there’s a small white fluffy dog looking up at you from the ground with melt-your-heart brown eyes pleading to be up there with you? Well, you grab a chair, put that beside you and put her up on that, of course. And she was happy. And so was I.
TWO FRIDAYS AGO: Sniff … I’m still a bit teary. The lovely Louise and her husband visited this morning and Louise fell in love with the blue butterfly slingbacks and in the same Katie n Me style, the black and white zig zag pair. She burst into tears, explaining how hard it has been in the past to find shoes that fit that weren’t ugly. I then started crying because I felt so happy for her! Happy tears all round.
As always, thanks to everyone who has shopped and shared their stories and love for gorgeous (long) shoes at The Shoe Garden, either in my shop or online from around Australia.
Love Carol & CC
