It’s the one question nearly everyone asks me …
“Where do you find all your shoes … do you get to go to Italy?”
Sigh, alas, no, I get to go to Kangaroo Point in inner city Brisbane instead!
That’s where I’ll be on Monday to view the Summer 20/21 ranges of some of my favourite brands.
I have back-to-back appointments throughout the day in rooms at several hotels where agents will be decorating tables and chairs and lounges and floors with gorgeous new choices for summer.
I will have several things with me:
- A checklist of styles that I need without fail. Think black corporate heels, black flats and anything in pink!
- An extra bag for catalogues and the pen I will continually lose throughout the day
- A fully charged iPhone so I can take photos as some brands don’t have catalogues
- Patience, a sense of humour and a critical eye for what I think my customers will want
- And comfy shoes, of course! Fashionable, but comfortable!
